The Oral Majority will NEVER FORGET the day Democracy Died.

Posted: March 11, 2001

Dear Activists:
March 10, 2001 was a remarkable day and 'turning' point for our movement and protests.
It started with Oral Majority setting up our protest in Daytona Beach, where "Bike Week" was going on.
Reaction to us was terrific. There were 4 of us. One from Pa. who kinda started it, and then two from Titusville and me from Miami Beach.
We were on Ora and Atlantic starting at 11:30A.M. and with a fence on the corner, which was perfect, for there were our two giant banners: "Bush Stole The Election" and "Fla. Freedom Riders Protest the Coronation of King George". Also we carried signs that said: "Texas Cocaine Fratboy-Hail To The Thief-No More Bushit"(Mari carried) and "Buck Fush" (Diane carried), and "1 person-1 vote may not apply in certain states" our Pa. lady carried. Also on the fence were: "King George Is A Puppet For Corporations that own his soul"; "Citizens for Free and accurate elections"; "Those Who Cast The Votes Decide Nothing while Those Who Count the votes decide everything."
Needless to say with traffic on a crawl from bikes and vehicles, and then those walking by, we had our hands full for nearly 4 hrs. and then we were also on Main St. with just "No More Bushit" stickers and buttons. Thousands saw the whole enchilada.
Surprise! We thought this would be Shrub's crowd and we did get about 20 negatives, more directed to Clinton than support for Bushit. Three times we were called 'communists', once 'liberals' and twice 'democrats', they think it means all the same anyways. Only a handful were into Shrub being better than white bread.
Meanwhile we got 50 "No More Bushit" items into 29 cities including Finland and Ontario, Ca.; and into S.C.; N.C.; Tenn; NY; GA; Conn; D.C.; Ohio; Ind; Tex; Ky; Pa; and W. Va, and in Fla. in 13 cities.
We thought this crowd might be rough and difficult with us. Who would have believed, it would be just the opposite. We'd never have known it if we hadn't done this protest.
    Empowerment is awesome. Enslavement isn't.
We took the risk to find out that we were right, still, and the majority is with us, even from those we don't think would be, but are anyway. So much for the media brainwashing. We have overcome!
Also, the US Commission on Civil Rights released its preliminary report and attack on Jeb Bush, which he says is 'politically motivated', while the Commission says it will be coming back for a third time.
Then the icing on the cake is nothing less than the Palm Beach Post declaring Gore the winner, by saying it found 784 votes which overrides Bushit's 537 votes, and there are 6607 under votes for Gore, due to 'ballot confusion'. Is it possible this confusing ballot was created on purpose as part of this conspiracy to steal the election?
What the media didn't connect is: the Palm Beach Post used the Broward County 'standard' which Katherine Harris accepted! It was the most liberal interpretation of counting chads, dimples, pimples, etc. The US Supreme Ct. was demanding for the State to have a standard of vote counting rules when they cut off counting of ballots so they could hand the election to their buddy Bushit — in total violation of the law of the land. This acceptance of the Broward County count created a state standard and that was also my testimony before the US Commission on Civil Rights.
The fact that this story is making news, but not on the scale of the Herald's 'supposed' victory for Bush in their Miami-Dade count, illustrates the best example of the collaboration with Bushit stealing the election.
This Palm Beach story was front page of the Gainesville Sun, and then in the rear pages with the Tampa Tribune, the Miami Herald, the Sun-Sentinel, the Tallahassee Democrat and the Jacksonville Times Union put it on page 3A, while most of the radio news ignored it altogether.
CNN picked up on it and it made MSNBC's web, but the explosion for the Herald's support for Bush instead of Gore actually winning the state and election via, this report from the Palm Beach Post, speaks volumes and of course is being 'poo-pooed' by the conservative media.
So today in Tallahassee, I've delivered our statement on this scandal to the media in the state Capitol as part of our protest tomorrow in Panama City when George W. and Jeb show up.
Tomorrow there are also protests in Jacksonville, Orlando and West Palm Beach.
On 3/25 we are in L.A. at the "Oscars".
April 1, at 3P.M., Oral Majority protests in WPB at the Supervisor of Elections, Theresa LePore, demanding she resign for her collaboration in this theft of our election and democracy.
This last week has been overwhelming for Oral Majority.
Last Sun. Oral Majority did our 2nd meeting in Lantana/Palm Beach on the same day that 20,000 were 'booing' Katherine Harris at Gulfstream Race Track in Hallandale-Broward County.
On Monday I address the Palm Aire Democrats and then our own chapter in Ft. Laud.
On Thurs., Grace Liem of Palm Beach Oral Majority addressed Kingspoint Democrats in Delray Beach, while I was forming our chapter in Boca Raton.
Friday morning I addressed Sabal Palm Condominium group of 80 and then "Bike Week" in Daytona.
Who says the revolution isn't working. Our persistance is paying off big time.
We are at center stage of ground zero, leading the protests against the whole Bushit conspiracy and grand theft and the silence of our Democrats. The Conservative Media is being fully exposed and the public is with us Big Time.
Stay tuned!

Yours Faithfully, Bob Kunst
